Well, the blogger says my last update was December 18th 2008! Wow, six months ago! I can hardly remember what we did for Christmas. And just think, Christmas is just 6 months away! My how time flys!
As far as school goes I took and finished Chemistry, English, Photography, and P.E. along with Ear Training 2, Music Theory 2, and Choir at Sierra College. I got A's in all the classes (YES!).
I finally graduated last week. It's nice to be done with "school". Now I can start my education! I don't have to obey the government anymore... or more to be more precise I don't have to take government required courses anymore.
I will probably take Intermediate algebra, English, Music Theory 3, Music History, and possibly Ear Training again. I know for sure I want to major in Music but I am also thinking about taking a second major in law, fire tech., or agriculture. I would also like to take some economic classes.
I have so many things I want to do that I don't know where to begin. I guess I'll have to start writing out some goals.
I also want to get a job and a truck this summer (now that I will hopefully be getting my driver's license this month). So I have a lot going on.
As far as getting sheep goes....I think I may have to wait till I'm on my own. Either that or get a job so that I can pay for them.
I am also making plans (along with my friend Karl) to go to Borneo next summer. I think it would be a fun vacation or adventure to make it sound more interesting. Kolton and Austin are still thinking about coming.
So as you see I have big goals. Hopefully, we'll be able to accomplish them.

Quick Update...
Well it's been a long time since I've updated. Yes, it was because of the fast paced month we've been in. It is soon to be over.
I must make this quick cause Felecia is pleading to get on.
So I've seeded the pasture and it's coming along just fine. With all these rains and sunshine it's been rippin' and roarin' out of the ground. I am not positive that I will be getting my sheep this spring because I have so many things competing for my attention.
I started drivers training. So now I have a valid permit and can drive anytime as long as there is an adult with me. And yes.... I did speed on my first drive... I caught myself going 75 mph down the freeway when it was only supposed to be 65 mph. Luckly the teacher didn't notice, and I was able to get back down to the legal speed.
So I will probably be looking for a truck...not a car...soon. I won't settle for a Ford or Chevy. I think a Nissan or Toyota will do fine. Once I get a car, it will help relieve my parents driving me everywhere 24-7. I won't even begin to list my schedule for next semester.
Everything else is doing great. The weather is cold and rainy and sunny and cloudy.
So that's the scoop for now.... I'll write when I can.

I am busy...
I wanted to let you all know why I haven't been updating for awhile... I've been extremely busy. When the holidays roll around things get going so fast that it's hard to keep up. So I am here to say that I probably won't be regularly updating till after Christmas.
This is applied to all of my blogs... but if you have questions still feel free to ask them. I will find time to answer any questions you have. As far as my blog "Let Freedom Ring" goes... I will continue to post Ron Paul's Weekly "Texas Straight Talk" but I will put a break on my writing for now.
Right now I have several songs I am working on for church. Also we are working on our final in college which takes up a lot of our time. I will be starting drivers training hopefully next week also. On top of that I have a full high school schedule.
So if I don't post till after Christmas....I will say it now.... Happy Holidays to You!

Happy Mole Day!
Yes, Happy Mole Day! Today is mole day! No, we're not talking about the little animals that make holes in the earth. Neither are we talking about the little brown spots people get on their skin. This is a different kind of mole.
Mole day is a holiday celebrated among chemists in North America on October 23rd from 6:02 a.m. to 6:02 p.m.
Ironically, I was learning about moles in my chemistry on Mole Day! I was reading how chemists wanted to make a national holiday called Mole Day and how Mole Day is on October 23rd. Then I was like....wait....it is October 23rd today! Today is Mole Day!
So you may be wondering what a mole is right? Well a mole is a group of atoms or molecules numbering 6.02 x 10^23. In other words a group of 602,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 atoms or molecules.
A mole is like a word representing a number...kinda like dozen, couple, and pair. Except this words represents a big number.
So why is 6.02 x 10^23 such an important number? Why is there a holiday for it? Well, this number was a big break through for chemists. An Italian scientist named Amedeo Avogadro discovered it. That's why it is often called Avogadro's number.
An atoms mass in amu (atomic mass units) can tell you how many grams it takes to have one mole of atoms. All we need to know is the amu of that atom.
For example, we want to know how many moles of fluorine atoms exist in a 50 gram sample of flourine. So knowing that a flourine's mass is 19.0 amu we can then multiply 50 grams of flourine by 1 mole and divide that by 19 grams of flourine. Our answer comes simply there are 2.63 moles of fluorine atoms in a 50.0 gram sample of flourine.
In the same way, a molecule's mass in amu tells you how many grams it takes to have one mole of the molecules.
So you see, the mole is a very important discovery. It is very interesting and amazing to think that 18.0 grams of H2O (water), 58.5 grams of NaCl (salt), and 4.0 grams of He (Helium) all individually equal one mole! It depends on each particular atom's amu to determine how many grams is in a mole.
So why does the celebration of Mole Day start at 6:02 a.m. and end at 6:02 pm? Well....one mole equals 6.02 x 10^23 atoms or molecules so I guess that's where they got the starting time of the celebration.
So anyway, Happy Mole Day to everyone!

I've Been Tagged...
So I was tagged by Felecia....my sister. I guess I'll give it a shot. Here are the rules:
The Rules:
1.Link to the person who tagged you.
2.Post the rules on your blog.
3.Write six random things about yourself.
4.Tag six people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know he or she has beentagged.
6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up
Ok.....six random things huh?
1. I hate the city. Well I don't know if I hate it but I really can't stand it. I could NEVER live there. It would be torture to me. I love the country. In fact... I actually feel cramped in where I live now. The neighbors are just too close. My ideal house would be the closest neighbors about 10 miles away. If the government ever wants to torture me...they can just force me to live in the city.... that'll do.
2. I love Russians.... I don't know what it is about them. They just seem like family to me. Recently I've spent quite a bit of time with the Barsakov family. I really love being around them. I love everyone in that family but I especially apreciate Max. When we first met we became instant brothers.
3. This one is really random but I just have to post it: I absolutely HATE kisses. There is probably no other thing on this earth that gets on my nerves. Even the sound of it makes me want to throw up. When my Mom comes to say goodnight to me...I try to pretend like I'm asleep...and it usually works. That is one big reason why I'm never ever, ever, going to get married.
4. I've wanted to be a doctor for awhile. Maybe just a family doctor. But I think that would be a neat job. The main reason I want to be a doctor...is so that I know what doctors know....JK. No, I really like helping the sick.
5. I am anti-big-government. I really think that government should be limited to protecting the people only. I write to my congressmen on a regular basis and am glad to know that my congressman, John Dolittle, voted against the bailout.
6. I love to travel..... I plan on traveling to all the countries in the world when I am old enough. I want to climb Mt. Everest, ride in a submarine to the bottom of the ocean, and fly to the moon in a rocket. I always tell my friends that I'm gonna lay foot on every square foot of this earth.
Ok so I'm not going to say goodness.... I noticed that Felecia, Chelsea, and Rebekah all said "goodness" when they got to this part....Kinda funny huh? I guess it's just peer pressure.
I think I'm going to tag Austin...I don't think he's been tagged. Who else? Katie?.....I think Keri has been tagged but I'll tag her again....and Kolton. Well that's four.....I guess I'll do it the easy way like Karl...and whoever reads this is tagged! HA HA!
Oh I forgot to mention my #7....just for Karl:
7. I love Nissan Frontiers. They are the best trucks there are. There is a period at the end of that sentence which means there is no room for ifs, ands, or buts.
See ya'll later!

Fall is Here!
Well...I don't know that it is my favorite season of the year....but I do love fall. I do like the excitement of the coming Christmas season.
My favorite season however is not fall, and it is not winter. It is Spring! Just the word "spring" makes me happy. I love the begining of a new year. I like all the flowers, baby chicks, and all that other good stuff. This last year we didn't have any baby chicks, but I am planning on hatching some this spring.
Well I guess I'd better tell what I've been up to. Let's see....
I don't think I told about our trip to the capital....but I'm sure you've already heard about it from other blogs. Yes, that was a fun trip. I especially liked the capital. I think I'm going to be a congressman when I grow up....
Anyway.... We had a young people's party where I proved that I wasn't a pro at foosball. Bro. Andy, Bro. Luis, Chelsea, and Karlina hold that position. I'm just a beginner. But I plan on getting better.
I'm been busy mostly with school. I haven't had anytime to plan for anything here on the mini-farm. I wanted to get sheep in the spring but it doesn't look like we'll be able to with this economy. I may just have to wait a few more years until I get my own place.... I think I'm gonna be a farmer when I grow up....
I've been reading a book called "A Season of Fire". It is very good. I talks about all the big fires where firefighters died in the line of duty. Some of the fires it talks about are the South Canyon fire, the Man Gulch Fire, the Big Blowup, and the Thirtymile fire. I don't know what it is about firefighting that facinates me. Now that I am studying chemistry, I've learned some about the chemistry of fire. It is absolutely facinating.
Many people don't know about these people called "Hotshots" or "Smokejumpers". They are really neat guys. You don't hear about them much because they fight the wild fires. I think that would be fun to do... Maybe I'll be a smokejumper when I grow up....
I can't decide what field I want to go into. I would really like to be a conductor....I think that would be an awesome job. My teacher always tells me how great it felt when she conducted an orchestra. I can only imagine.
I also like the medical field...I always like helping sick people.
So that's the scoop.... I need to stop writting because I need to start studying. See you all later! Have a GREAT weekend!

Time for an update!
Hello Everyone!
I have been busy as usual. I will tell you a bit of what I've been doing....
Last weekend Me, Connor, my Dad and Bro. Andy all went to Donnor for two nights. It was very fun. We hiked a lot and also did a lot of fishing. I caught one fish and my Dad caught one fish. We stayed in a very nice cabin. On Saturday, we all came home so tired. But it was fun altogether!
Because of the trip, I got a tad bit behind on my schoolwork but I think I'm all caught up now. I love doing school. It is so much fun! Chemistry is probably my hardest subject... it uses a lot of Algebra and equations. But I really like it. It is very interesting.
United States history is a breeze. The thing that takes the longest is reading all the literature that goes along with it. I have gotten A's so far in all of my subjects.
I will be starting Driver's Training sometime in the near future. The papers are having a hard time being transferred to the right place but I think we got it this time. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll have started training.
The pasture is coming along quite well. I have put the pony on the back half so that the front half can grow up some. If all goes well I might be able to get my sheep next February. I think I will be well prepared by then. I still have some fencing to do but that's about it.
It is so amazing how fast time flies. It seems the older you get the faster time gets away from you. It just seemed like Christmas yesterday but now the Christmas season is coming around again. I can't believe we're already halfway through September!
Hopefully we'll have a good winter. I am planning on planting more fruit trees. I have a pineapple guava tree coming in the mail sometime this month. I also need to get another almond tree. I will probably plant a lemon also and possibly other types of citrus.
Another project: I want to get a vineyard growing. I have one grape vine in which I am going to take several cuttings off of to plant in the spring. Hopefully by the year 2010 we'll have grapes coming out our ears!
I am excited about the coming months. This is my last year of school. I don't know whether to be happy or sad about that fact. I like the feeling of accomplishment...but there are so many benefits to staying in school. I could take another whole year of college without having to pay a penny. But I think I would rather graduate this year.
Well that's the update for now. When I find my pictures of our trip I will post some.
